There has been much speculation recently regarding the publication date and subject matter of the latest Dan Brown novel, widely reported to be called “The Solomon Key”, a reference to an apocryphal thread of history in which Freemasons supposedly participate. A reliable source for a reporter in seacoast New Hampshire, where Dan Brown makes his home, has suggested that Brown’s newest novel may not have the title “Solomon Key” after all. Because of this, the reporter wonders whether the novel will even touch on Freemasonry. Thus the ongoing intrigue surrounding the latest installment of Brown’s apocryphal history continues apace, complete with a cameo appearance of George Washington in his Masonic Regalia.
